Your role is to work as the owner’s representative and acquire, handle and strategically share data with internal partners and to collaborate with project representatives. You will use your technical abilities and diverse experience to consult with our engineering team to define strategies to maintain assets and to advise long term corrective planning for infrastructure.

This will be a full-time on-site position based in Orlando, FL reporting to Utility Mapping Service Manager.

You Will:

  • Update GIS Database with changes from projects and sustaining activities

  • Collect, summarize and file utility information into an easily readable format

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and improve existing GIS data, processes, and applications

  • Accurately input and verify the correctness of metadata in the system

  • Develop and implement mobile ArcGIS apps and dashboards for userbase

  • Utilize ArcGIS apps for field data collection and provide troubleshooting support on-site

  • Coordinate with partners for regular maintenance of GIS software/hardware, ensuring performance and stability of GIS infrastructure

  • Provide application support for GIS users across the Reedy Creek Energy Services (RCES) Enterprise system and manage user access

  • Understand and maintain data compatibility with utility models

  • Prepare documentation of standard operating procedures, dependencies, and user guides

Required qualifications:

  • 4+ Years' experience demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the use and application of GIS data and technologies

  • A functional understanding of AutoCAD

  • Sharp oral and written communication skills, and ability to tell the story to partners who do not have a technical background

Desired qualifications:

  • ArcGIS server administration certification

  • GISP Certification

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
