What you will do:

A Program Analyst – Physical Security Representative will be mainly responsible for working with different Stryker locations on building security projects. These projects will be implemented using the Stryker standards for access control, cameras, visitor management, and other solutions related to building security. Building partnerships with the business and vendors will be key in completing projects on time and on budget.

You will be supporting the physical security team while meeting goals, objectives and demands of the organization and adhering to policies and procedures. Part of the responsibilities under the physical security team will be dealing with customers on inquiries and requests based on building security.

The main objectives are to provide “Best in Class” Customer Service and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and experience to both internal and external customers are achieved. This includes identifying and supporting continuous improvement efforts and engagement in process improvements to enhance the service to our customers.

This role will embrace teamwork and collaboration, quality performance standards, professionalism, and integrity to ensure that results are delivered in accordance with the strategic plans, objectives, and customers’ contractual agreements.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

Projects:

  • Serves on physical security projects to support organizational projects, in partnership with the global physical security team.
  • Communication to internal and external customers, help with creating support documentation, design work, etc.
  • Proposes improvements to existing processes and aims for excellence in execution and service to all stakeholders.
  • Establishing metrics, tracking, and building relationships within Stryker and with the global vendors.
  • Able to work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Maintain budgets.
  • Look for cost saving measures during projects.
  • Willingness to work with the business during their work shift which may require nights or weekends.

Building Security Systems

  • Maintenance, update, storage, and control of physical security documentation, regularly audits systems to comply with internal controls and legal requirements
  • Support different teams within Stryker on access control, camera/CCTV, visitor management, uniformed guards, and other security tools.
  • Partnership with vendors on supporting the security tools in place by being the first line of help for internal customers.
  • Answer incoming calls during business hours and respond to the client’s questions and concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Provide metrics regarding building security projects.

What you need:

Education & special trainings:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience required
  • Project management certified or related certifications like the six sigma is preferred

Qualifications & experience:

  • Relevant working experience within a matrixed international company (preferably with US-based headquarters or a Multinational company).
  • The candidate must have excellent communications skills (both verbal and written), must manage time effectively and have strong organizational skills. 
  • Fluent spoken and written English required. Any other language is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, orientation towards creative problem resolution and ownership of achieving excellence in deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization and across multiple functions 
  • Ability to produce high quality work while prioritizing multiple simultaneous deliverables and working in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • The candidate can resolve end user problems quickly. 
  • The candidate also has the ability and judgment to escalate support requests as part of the Information Technology team.
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional organizations to support key initiatives
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work nights and weekends 
  • Position may require non-traditional work schedule and on call support.

Physical & mental requirements:

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.  Generally, involves sitting most of the time.
  • Must be able to operate common office equipment (e.g., computer, printer, copy machine, calculator, telephone, etc.).
  • Must be able to review printed and handwritten materials.
  • Must be able to communicate telephonically and with large groups of people.

Travel Percentage: 10%
