Travel Security and Executive Protection Program Manager, Global Physical Security - Reston

In a rapidly evolving world of threats, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of personnel here at Qualtrics. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive travel security plans to mitigate risk and ensure the protection of Qualtrics employees, our brand, and our assets. Their work directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining the highest security standard at all times.
This is a critical role that will be spearheading the protection of our executives and the sensitive information we handle.
How You’ll Find Success
- Leadership Excellence: Drive innovation and champion security-first decision-making across the organization.
- Strategic Thinking: Anticipate threats, proactively develop mitigation plans, and influence company-wide security policies and buy in.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of physical security threat modeling and intelligence.
- Collaboration & Communication: Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, law enforcement, and external partners.
- Vendor Management: Source and manage third party vendors to support executive protection and travel security. Prioritize consistency and clear standards across a global landscape.

Things You’ll Do
- Security Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement security protocols and procedures tailored to the specific needs of executives.
- Executive Protection: Oversee daily operations, including transportation logistics, event security, and residential security
- Proactive Risk Mitigation: Conduct ongoing threat assessments, develop proactive risk mitigation strategies, and oversee physical security assessments for executive residences.
- Champion Change: Lead change initiatives related to physical security, guide teams through transitions, and proactively address potential resistance.
- Travel Security: Work with existing threat management platforms to support threat and intelligence monitoring across the enterprise.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in physical security executive protection roles (or law enforcement), ideally in a tech-forward or dynamic environment, with a track record of driving innovation and managing complex problems.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze complex threats, develop proactive mitigation strategies, and influence company-wide security policies.
- Change Leader: Demonstrated success in leading change initiatives, addressing resistance, and fostering a culture of security awareness.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, and navigate organizational dynamics with diplomacy.
