The Role

Amperity’s marketing department is rapidly growing as we continue to help companies transform their business. Events and conferences are at the core of our mission, and  if you enjoy planning, organizing and executing events, this is the role for you.  We are seeking an exceptional Senior Events Manager to lead, innovate, and execute world-class event experiences that drive brand awareness, generate pipeline, and deepen customer relationships. Reporting to the Head of Field & Events Marketing, you will be at the forefront of our most impactful events that will help build pipeline and accelerate revenue—including our annual user conference, industry trade shows, and strategic partner events—helping us create unforgettable experiences that deliver real business results. Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing strategy for our tentpole events, responsible for audience development and follow-up strategy to help our field build and accelerate pipeline.
  • Lead the end-to-end management of Amplify, our premier customer conference, ensuring an engaging and educational experience for our customers and prospects.
  • Develop unique event activations at partner events and industry trade shows that enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and capture high-quality leads 
  • Manage logistics, vendor relationships, and cross-functional enablement and execution to ensure each event is delivered flawlessly.
  • Measure event success through pipe generation, pipe acceleration, and closed deals, providing insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with PMM, content and design to ensure consistent brand representation and messaging across all events to reinforce the company's positioning and values.
  • Influence and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders at all levels across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success Managers, Product and Partners (when applicable)  and align all stakeholders on pre-event, during-event, and post-event engagement to execute experiences that drive results.

About You

  • 8 - 10  years in event management or marketing, with a strong focus on conferences, sponsorships, or high-impact events.
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional programs.
  • Strong budget management skills, able to maximize impact while controlling costs.
  • Experience presenting and influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret data and apply insights to improve event performance and refine strategy.
  • Operate with a people-first mindset, including all partners
  • History of building trust across teams
  • Willing to travel to support events
  • Proven project management and process improvement capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with tools like 6Sense, Marketo is sought after
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and desire to influence external and internal stakeholders.

Our hybrid work model includes three days in the office each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility

Compensation

Base Salary:  $100,000 - $140,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training. 

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options:  The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
