Job Description:
As a Field Sales Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in supporting sales efforts through technical product knowledge and customer engagement. Working closely with experienced engineers and sales teams, you will assist in identifying customer needs, developing tailored solutions, and delivering technical consultations that contribute to long-term customer success. This internship offers an opportunity to learn about the intersection of engineering and sales, helping you develop the skills necessary for a successful career in technical sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and prospecting new eco-system partners and expanding existing customer accounts.
Support the development of customized technical solutions that address customer challenges and product needs.
Participate in product demonstrations and help provide technical consultations on product integration and application.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to analyze market trends and competitor products.
Learn about system and application integration to provide meaningful input in customer conversations.
Skills You Will Need to Be Successful:
Interest in learning about technical product knowledge and solution selling.
Strong communication skills for building relationships with customers and partners.
Problem-solving mindset to help address customer challenges with tailored technical solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support sales and technical consultation efforts.
Basic understanding of engineering principles related to the products being sold.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Interest in technical sales and customer engagement.
Strong desire to learn about sales strategy and technical consultation.
