We are looking for an FP&A Senior Analyst to join our Finance team in Mexico and help drive business performance through financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and business partnership.
Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Controller, Hach Mexico, the FP&A Senior Analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, working capital management, and business performance analysis across the organization.
This role partners closely with Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams to provide actionable insights, improve forecast accuracy, identify financial risks and opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making. The position requires strong business partnering capabilities and the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Key Responsibilities:
Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly planning processes.
Maintain financial models, planning assumptions, and risks & opportunities tracking.
Analyze business performance across revenue, operating expenses, SG&A, profitability, and headcount.
Prepare variance analyses versus budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
Monitor key working capital drivers, including inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow performance.
Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and decision-support tools.
Support month-end reviews, management reporting, and business performance discussions.
Perform customer, product, and price/mix profitability analyses.
Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership.
Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Finance stakeholders to improve business performance and forecast accuracy.
Support ad hoc financial analyses and strategic business initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in FP&A, Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, Cost Finance, or related finance functions.
Proven experience supporting annual budgets, forecasting cycles, and monthly business performance reviews.
Strong financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis capabilities.
Experience analyzing working capital, cash flow, costs, and profitability drivers.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Fluent English.
Preferred:
Experience with Oracle ERP.
Experience with OneStream.
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, commercial, life sciences, or distribution environments.
