Responsibilities:

• Technical development of air springs and air suspension modules acc. internal specifications, customer specifications and project timeline throughout the entire VCProMaP project management process.

• Technical evaluation of customer specifications and requirements. Subsequently provide customer feedback, review and negotiate a technically acceptable contractual

  basis for the project

• Basic functional layout and the derivation of specifications for design, material and testing

• Coordination of procurement, assembly, quality assurance and delivery of prototype parts

• Coordination of setup, resources, execution and documentation of static and dynamic testing relevant for design and product validation including customer sign off

• Comprehensive coordination of technical aspects which influence the design, function, and quality of the product with all stakeholders internally (Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Testing, PQS, Logistics) as well as externally (Customer, Suppliers).

• Constant dedication to product/process improvements and innovations including knowledge protection by patents

• Technical support of product launch and occasionally occurring series supply issues and quality claims

• Support of Design- and Process-FMEA

• Acquirement of expert key competences

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or beyond in mechanical engineering or similar
• Several years of experience in automotive industry or automotive supplier in the areas of development, project management preferrable
• Good skills in MS-Office
• Knowledge in product development
• Basic knowledge in air springs preferable
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
• Assertiveness and a structured working style
• Fluent German and English language skills
