Job Mission
Founded in 1984, ASML is the world’s leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or microchips. The Customer Support (CS) organization is responsible for the installations, qualification, repair and maintenance of the ASML systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer. Local site Customer Support branches perform these tasks for the customer within the specific region. This position will be based in Chandler, AZ.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
Your Assignment
You will collaborate with customer support engineers to perform testing, analyze data, and support system maintenance
Work in a team environment alongside local experienced engineers
Specific tasks will be tailored to match the education / experience level of the intern as well as the interns learning objectives for the summer
The goal of the internship is for you to learn about working in a corporate setting and to provide hands on experience solving real world problems in a team environment
Interns will typically be required to document and present their findings as well as making an end of summer presentation to the group about what they achieved during their internship

We are seeking an individual with a strong background in an engineering field
Ability to assemble electrical equipment necessary for the system
Create reports for tests conducted and the result
Coordinate the material needed for the projects
Prepare the documentation for the progress of ongoing projects
Basic experience with mechanical analytical techniques
Improve equipment and machines to ensure efficiency and reliability
Provide engineering support for troubleshooting
Demonstrated ability to derive conclusions from analysis and make practical recommendations
Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills
Capability to interface with multidisciplinary groups including senior leadership
High energy self-motivated team player with strong desire to learn
Customer oriented and willing to work with high level problem solvers on a daily basis
Possess strong leadership and ownership characteristics with commitment to achieve results on time
