Across our portfolio of live event venues and corporate offices, we have an excellent and immediate opening for a Part Time Beverage Cart Attendant at the ASM GLOBAL Pembroke Pines/Club 19 location. This position primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to our patrons by offering a selection of beverages and snacks while they enjoy their rounds of golf.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the beverage cart throughout the golf course to offer beverages and snacks to golfers.
  • Engage with golfers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart, including stocking and restocking inventory as needed.
  • Accurately record sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management to ensure adequate supply of beverages and snacks.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed, such as assisting with event setup or other hospitality duties.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience          

  • High School degree/GED or equivalent is required.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.

Skills and Abilities  

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and coworkers.
  • Attention to detail to accurately record sales transactions and maintain inventory levels.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to drive a beverage cart safely and responsibly throughout the golf course.
  • Ability to lift and carry beverage containers and restock inventory as needed.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure, especially during busy periods.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and customer needs while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Working Conditions

  • Weekly hours 20 - 25 per week (Thursday – Sunday)
  • Works outdoors, subject to temperature extremes and excessive noise.
  • Constant reaching, sitting, walking, and stooping.
  • Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination
  • Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
