Job Description
The purpose of the Data Platform Developer is to build data pipelines that collect and transform data coming from multiple sources into datasets and reports according to functional and technical specifications. Employees in this position maintain and support the existing data pipelines, datasets, and reports on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
Build and deliver datasets, pipelines, and occasionally reports
Ensure solution quality and compliance with requirements and standards
Daily support the solutions and the users
Fix the issue, propose new technical solution
Create and update technical documentation manuals
Requirements
5 years of professional experience within the Enterprise Intelligence field (Data Warehouse modelling, Data Lake setup, Data cleansing, ETL, …)
Good understanding of end-to-end BI flow, like daily data refresh, data quality and data monitoring activities, performance optimization, data modelling
SQL proficiency is a must (at least 5 years of experience with any DBMS)
Experience with several of the following tools:
- Reporting: Power BI, Tableau, BO Web Intelligence,
- Data Platform: Snowflake, Azure Data factory, ADLS, Azure DevOps, Atlan Data Catalog, …
Experience in working in an international environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including technical writing skills
Business domain knowledge is a strong plus (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchase, Sales & MKT, …)
Any other European language is a strong plus (French, Italian, German, Spanish…)
This role is a one-year contract, with the potential for an indefinite contract thereafter. We understand the importance of flexibility in today's world, so we're also open to a hybrid working model. You'll have the freedom to work partially from home and partially from our office in Wroclaw IT Hub. We're all about ensuring our team can work where they're most productive and comfortable.
