In this position, you will join our Procter & Gamble global IT team and be accountable for end-to-end IT Operations in our manufacturing site.

You will apply:

  • Incident Management: accountability and ownership to lead most technical incidents within your technical area and work with relevant team (partners and Local Business experts) to resolve more complex or cross-technology incidents;

  • Technical Mastery, applied analytics and critical thinking skills in solving issues related to applications, computing and network;

  • Escalation Management: Minimize impact to business by identifying potential escalations and alert management proactively, elevating to right operation team;

  • Problem Management: Begin to proactively and reactively provide solutions to prevent problems from occurring in area of responsibility, inter-operating with the P&G business and P&G operating standards, key personnel and partners;

  • Continuous improvement: find opportunities to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the IT/OT operations and work closely with IT Operations Leader & P&G Technical Service Provider to deliver the agreed Continuous Improvement plan;

  • Solution Design: consultant for local infrastructure needs within area(s) of technical responsibility;

  • Stewardship: Performer of IT CSAs and responsible for timely closure of the issues with quality. Support local Audit on all IT topics.

Job Qualifications

You are a good fit for this internship if you: 

  • Master student or recent graduate in one of the following fields: Management Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar quantitative field;

  • Have proven academic excellence;

  • Are fluent in Italian and have an excellent ability to communicate in English;

  • Have demonstrated leadership in applying and scaling Analytic techniques;

  • Have knowledge of database, cloud architecture and applied analytics.

It represents a plus if you have experience with Analytical tools/apps:

  • Service Operations – Manage applications and infrastructure components in a production environment. ITIL Foundation Certified would be helpful;

  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure with a strong desire to improve an expertise that is now recognized as a critical skill in the new IT career model. This includes NT servers, Networking, Firewalls, Voice, Mobility and Personal Computing;

  • Ability to work optimally in a highly matrix organization where boundaries are sometimes unclear. Works well across teams, functions, and organizations and is seen by others as a good team player;

  • Leadership: work with a "start‐up" approach to identify the work processes and business processes vital to ensure Operational Excellence in a Plant environment;

  • Project Management – Ability to deliver small to medium projects;

  • IT Security & Risk – awareness of cybersecurity requirement and support local cybersecurity team into the remediation plan.
