We are looking for a Operations Manager to join our team.
The opportunity
The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources, procedures, and timing for various business processes. This role involves organizing project teams, assigning responsibilities, developing schedules, and determining resource needs. The manager will monitor and report on project status, ensuring adherence to quality standards and resolving any obstacles to timely and budget-compliant project completion. The role also includes managing multiple, interrelated projects, integrating vendor tasks, and implementing short-term policies and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities
Plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for administrative or business processes.
Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules, and determine resource requirements.
Monitor and report on the status of projects, including cost, timing, and staffing.
Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization).
Identify and resolve obstacles to completing projects on time and within budget.
Manage multiple, interrelated projects, including business transformation projects.
Integrate vendor tasks into the project plan, tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables.
Implement policy and strategy for short-term results (1 year or less).
Address moderately complex problems and influence others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the energy sector.
Strong knowledge of operations management methodologies and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
