C.H. Robinson is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Robinson Managed Solutions (RMS) team.  In this role you will support the execution of day-to-day supply chain inventory operations, as well as design solutions and develop capabilities to support the strategic vision of C.H. Robinson and the Customer. These solutions focus primarily on inventory management and optimization. You will participate in the development of enterprise level or supply chain strategies for CHR and its customers.

Key tasks include, but are not limited to, performing inventory activities within SAP, gathering and cleansing data, solution designing, problem solving, documenting processes, preparing reports, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

This role is based in our Monterrey, MX office and is required to be in-office one day per week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the customer’s transactional inventory activities daily using mostly SAP, Power BI and Excel, such as but not limited to:

  • Create and process inventory transfers

  • Perform stock availability checks to ensure sufficient material for shipments and customer orders

  • Execute inventory movements between storage locations to reconcile physical inventory with system data

  • Assist in physical vs. system inventory reconciliations and investigate inventory discrepancies

  • Prepare and maintain inventory reconciliation reports for warehouses

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop simple solutions and recommendations for customer issues or opportunities

  • Assist and support implementations of solutions, including documenting customer procedures, training and resolving operational issues

  • Track activities, reporting on progress and milestones and measuring results

  • Align and communicate with customer or internal stakeholders to gather information, voice of customer, scope, opportunities, deliverables and project milestones

  • Receive coaching, guidance and feedback from others to support personal and technical skill development

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel to analyze and summarize data, including graphs, charts, formulas and functions

  • Ability to travel a minimum of 10% (domestically and internationally)

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)

Preferred:

  • Experience with Power BI

  • Experience using data visualization and analytical tools

  • Able to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in supply chain data

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

  • Strong organization and task management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects/priorities simultaneously

  • Awareness of end-to-end supply chain functions and relationships

  • Knowledge of lean processes and tools
