The Seasonal Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for providing on-the-ground merchandising support to help deliver sell-out results within Department Stores in their respective trade market.  

PURPOSE
This main focus of this role is ensuring that product displays comply with Godiva’s merchandising guidelines during key peak holiday periods.  Key responsibilities include traveling to assigned locations and ensuring that product displays meet Godiva’s merchandising standards by checking for damaged and aged product; ensuring fixtures are clean and dust free; organizing stock rooms where allowed, and keeping management informed with before/after pictures of store set ups.

This is a seasonal role. The territories we are currently hiring for are: Orange County California, Miami, San Francisco, and Southern New Jersey.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key responsibilities of this role include:
•    Ensure that all assigned locations are within guidelines of Godiva’s merchandising standards and make necessary changes to create a superior “in-store” presence.
•    Check for damaged and aged stock and complete associated paperwork.
•    Rotate stock and fill-in displays with backstock, including wrap stands
•    Clean and dust fixtures.  Organize the stock rooms where applicable.
•    Provide pictures to management of before/after in-store set ups

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
•    At least 1-year previous related experience within a marketing/merchandising environment
•    Ability to work independently
•    Strong communication skills
•    Merchandising experience a must
