Walmart Connect is seeking a senior level leader to own the vision, strategy, and execution of the organization's omni-measurement, reporting and insights product capabilities for this critical and growing product portfolio.  You will be a leader of leaders and will build and lead the product team.  In this role, you will own your product portfolio end to end, collaborating closely with various partners across the organization, including engineering and product marketing.  You will work with and influence senior cross functional leaders from Sales, Client Services, Strategy, to bring the power of Walmart’s vast audience graph to life for our clients through measurement and insights.  This leader will also own identification of future opportunity areas to continue to strengthen our leading Retail Media Network position in the industry. 

 

This is a high impact opportunity to build a sought-after product suite to drive meaningful growth and transformation for the business.  The individual needs to be strategic, impact oriented, partner focused, solution-driven with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels and divisions of an organization.  

 

Location: San Bruno, CA or Hoboken, NJ. This position will be in primary office. Relocation assistance will be offered if needed. Domestic and International travel is expected.  

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:   

Develop, implement, and scale a multiyear vision and product roadmap for core measurement and insights products that delivers value to WMC customers of all sizes across the entire product suite including Display, Sponsored Search, Videos, and In-Store ads etc. 

With future thinking mindset, build a healthy portfolio that balances 1P and 3P products. 

Build and grow measurement and insights 1st party products for accounts of all sizes and across verticals.  

Lead strategy and own 3rd party measurement product e.g. Brand Lift, MMM etc. 

Establish Walmart Connect as a leader in the space of retail media measurement and insights. Assess current market trends, advertiser expectations and competitive landscape to develop and influence industry standards and best practices. 

Build and lead a high–energy, matrixed team of product managers to establish clear, specific goals and plans and oversee their successful execution to deliver measurable results. 

Partner with a team of world-class engineers and a high performing product marketing team to bring your product vision and strategy to life 

Establish trustworthy relationships across the enterprise to ensure all stakeholders have input and to evangelize the overarching strategy and roadmap. 

 

Qualifications   

Demonstrated success in building a new product portfolio in the advanced analytics and measurement space. 

Demonstrated expertise and thought leadership in Incrementality measurement, MTA, Brand Lift, MMM, experimental A / B testing and predictive/econometric modeling.  

Background in retail, retail media, media platforms, and/or ad tech data in areas of advertising or marketing measurement, analytics, insights, and data science  

Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and align executive leadership across a diverse enterprise with varying levels of understanding.   

Demonstrated ability to lead a complex organization through product led transformation from a primarily high touch support model. 

Ability to lead in ambiguity, strategic thinking and collaboration. 

High emotional quotient (EQ); encourage team cooperation, promote enthusiasm, motivate strategic thinking, and ensure insightful problem solving.   

Able to think and act creatively, championing and promoting innovative ideas that contribute to the goals of the organization and the department.    

Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly independent environment and juggle multiple ongoing projects, responsibilities, and relationships.    

Bring a sense of “fun” that inspires others and creates a healthy team environment.  

10-15 years of experience in product management. Most recent 5+ years directly managing a team of leaders and managers in a in complex business.  

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.
