The Head of HR – India will be responsible for leading the end-to-end Human Resources function across India, partnering closely with country leadership to scale operations, strengthen organizational capability, and build a high-performance culture.
This role requires a hands-on, business-aligned HR leader with strong experience in scaling large, operations-driven, and technology-enabled workforces, ideally within AI/data services, digital operations, or global delivery environments.
Collaborate with the CHRO and global HR leaders to build consistent, aligned company-wide strategies and programs, while advocating for India’s unique needs.
Act as a strategic advisor on people-related risks, opportunities, and transformation initiatives — influencing decisions through workforce analytics and data-driven insights.
Lead the HR Business Partner team to drive organizational development, workforce planning, and long-term capability building with country leadership.
Deliver globally aligned, locally relevant talent programs that support business priorities, growth plans, and organizational objectives.
Design and deliver talent programs to identify, develop, grow, and retain Centific talent.
Partner with TA Leadership to implement efficient, scalable, high quality talent acquisition practices to support both high-volume and niche hiring across AI/data, engineering, and operations functions.
Build and scale distributed workforce models, including gig, contract, and multilingual talent ecosystems.
Strengthen employer branding and talent positioning within the AI/data and digital ecosystem.
Build long-term talent pipelines through strategic partnerships with universities, institutes, and external ecosystems.
Oversee end-to-end HR operations: shared services, payroll, employee lifecycle management, and process improvement through automation and HR technology.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, statutory regulations, and global HR policies.
Establish governance frameworks to manage people-related risks and uphold high standards of ethics and workplace practices.
Build and sustain a high-performance, inclusive, and agile culture — driving performance management frameworks, engagement initiatives, and retention strategies.
Champion diversity & inclusion, employee well-being, and positive employee experience.
Lead HR initiatives during organizational transformation and rapid scaling, driving change management programs to support new structures and operating models.
15–20+ years of progressive HR experience in high-growth, complex business environments.
Proven record as HR Head / HR Director within AI/data services, digital operations, technology, or GCC environments.
Demonstrated success scaling large workforces (1,000+ employees) across multi-location delivery setups.
Deep expertise in India labor law, statutory regulations, and compliance requirements.
Experience in high-volume hiring, distributed workforce models (gig and contract), and global matrixed organizations.
Exposure to M&A integration: workforce alignment, cultural integration, and policy harmonization.
Strategic thinking and business acumen — aligning people strategy to business outcomes.
People analytics — deriving actionable insights from workforce data.
