GEICO is seeking a Staff Counsel Procedural Reviewer to join our Staff Counsel team. Job duties include conducting audits of Staff Counsel files to ensure quality file handling and reviewing office practices to ensure they are in accordance with departmental procedures, standards, and best practices.
Essential Functions:
Conducts audits of Staff Counsel files to measure and ensure quality case handling, reporting and compliance with Staff Counsel policies and procedures.
PROVIDES post-audit feedback to management on cases that may need immediate attention, and any violations of Staff Counsel policies and procedures discovered during the audit.
ACTS as an objective source of independent recommendations to senior management and effectively COMMUNICATES findings and recommendations including the identity of loopholes, gaps in policy, and irregularities related to reporting requirements.
PREPARES and PRESENTS reports on audit trends to members of senior management and Staff Counsel Managers and MAKES recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the audit process.
ASSISTS in developing best practices and RECOMMENDS improvements to existing policies and procedures.
ADHERES to the GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies and operating principles.
MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and co-workers.

Annual Salary
$134,275.00 - $210,125.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
