Application Engineer Lead – Edison, NJ and unanticipated sites throughout US

Description:

• Manage end-to-end DevOps process. Ascertain the existing setup and create documentation of workflows of CI/CD pipelines for all lower and higher environments.
• Review code of existing scripts, provide suggestions and recommendations, and re-design those pipeline scripts using the tools supported in all environments.
• Develop the CI/CD pipeline jobs for the redesigned web UI and API components to make the deployment of any build to any environment, such as development/quality assurance/staging/production, seamless.
• Create platform/tool agnostic scripts to change CI/CD tools in future, if required. Maintain and enhance the scripts and manage the tools.
• Carry out sprint planning and execution using Agile methodologies.
• Code repository maintenance and perform migration of code from lower to higher environments such as for user acceptance testing, staging or productions.
• Ascertain the existing DevOps process followed in client environment via knowledge transfer sessions.
• Execute all the pipeline jobs and continually enhance them for seamless deployment of the builds across various environments.
• Maintain the system and have continuous build and deployment scripts enhanced/optimized.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Technology or Information Technology.
• 2 years experience in job offered or 2 years experience as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Lead or related occupation.
