This role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance.

Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Global L&D Facilitation is accountable for leading a cross-border team of facilitators as they deliver strategic and high impact learning programs throughout TD Bank. This role is responsible for designing and implementing the global facilitation strategy to ensure colleagues are appropriately aligned and upskilled to deliver solutions that enhance employee skills, deliver against business objectives and support TD's learning culture.

Working in close partnership with the Learning & Development (L&D) leadership team, the Senior Manager will apply best practice and operational effectiveness.as he/she thinks globally, but acts locally. This includes connectivity with the Head of U.S L&D, who will ensure the U.S bank has the necessary resources and quality in delivery to address all U.S learning needs.

Role Accountabilities

  • Oversee the North American facilitation team responsible for delivering training programs aligned with the TD's business goals and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with extended Learning & Development leaders and business stakeholders to understand and address line of business needs through learning delivery.

  • Act as a key contact for global stakeholders regarding facilitation strategy, training outcomes and continuous improvement

  • Implement and manage scalable training delivery strategies that builds regional and cultural contexts into relevant program offerings

  • Oversee the mitigation of all global training delivery risks and effectively manage issues resolution, escalating unresolved issues or high impact risks to the VP in a timely manner

  • Provide guidance and resources to facilitators on emerging trends, tools and methods for effective training delivery

  • Champion team development by actively supporting initiatives that seek to enhance team performance, engagement and drive program effectiveness through Delivery Managers

  • Develop and lead the implementation of Facilitation standards to drive consistent practices for training modules (i.e.: in person, virtual) across all programs

Job Requirements

  • Experienced Learning & Development practioner with a proven history of developing and deploying impactful solutions at scale

  • Exceptional leader who role models TD's leadership expectations and talent philosophy

  • Experienced in creating a vision, framework and plan and mobilizing teams to effectively deliver training

  • Proven experience in a global, matrixed organization, ideally within the financial services industry

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, facilitation techniques and training technologies

  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal, able to build stakeholder relationships and earn trust

  • Undergraduate degree required; Post Graduate degree preferred
