Your role

  • Contribute to harmonization of pricing processes, tools and data to support integration of DORC portfolio into ZEISS OPT while ensuring business continuation for DORC, i.e.

  • Execute and lead the enablement of the organization to execute operational pricing for DORC products (coun-tries, HQ stakeholders)

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure process alignment and improvements

  • Support and enable country organizations and HQ management to execute pricing approvals

  • Conceptualization & ownership of pricing data (develop, maintain, correct & communicate) price lists globally

  • Facilitate and drive price increase processes related to DORC portfolio Mid-term: Improve pricing frameworks and analytics and execute pricing processes, i.e.

  • Improve deal evaluation calculators

  • Own the development of a pricing analytics roadmap, create deep-dive reports and improve available data to identify margin leakage and derive possible actions

  • Act as sparring partner to the organization in regards to pricing

  • Support on special strategic projects, independent shaping and execution of workstreams to advance pricing ex-cellence

Your profile

  •  Diploma or master's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics or Life Sciences

  • High proficiency in tools: Excel VBA, ERP, PowerBI, CRM

  • Strong analytics skills

  • Familiarity with basic management accounting

  • Competency of analyzing and model building with large datasets

  • Strong entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset

  • Strong communication and ability to successfully maneuver through different levels of an organization

  • Ability to motivate & lead cross-functional working teams to success

  • Experience of interpreting analysis into a business context

  • Hands-on experience with customer facing negotiations is a plus

  • Solid knowledge of pricing methodologies

  • Fluent in English, ability to speak additional languages is a plus

  • Flexible and willing to travel internationally, especially willingness to spend extended periods of time in Zuidland and Munich

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a project lead role in a business environment
