Job Summary:

The purpose of the Community Engagement Program Coordinator is to support the implementation of Allina Health community engagement initiatives to improve the health of the communities Allina Health serves and demonstrate Allina Health's commitment to community.

Key Position Details:

This is a great opportunity for a part-time position that provides flexibility to work primarily remote with some opportunities to work onsite and attend meetings as needed.

This position will provide support for the Free Clinic of Pierce and St. Croix Counties. This clinic provides primary care services to low income, uninsured residents of these two counties. We are lucky to have almost 200 volunteers. The clinic is open on Tuesday evenings.

Responsible for developing, planning and implementing strategies utilizing social media platforms to build awareness in the community.

  • .5 FTE (20 hours per week)
  • 8-hour day/evening shifts
  • No weekends

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Community Benefit & Engagement Programs
    • Coordinate all aspects of Community Benefit & Engagement programs
    • Create and run reports for programs
    • Communicate program updates to key stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners specific to program needs
  • Communications
    • Ensure communications plan timelines are met for Community Benefit & Engagement programs and initiatives
    • Order and manage collateral as needed for specific programs and initiatives
    • Work with communications and creative services to coordinate the messaging and creation of marketing collateral to support systemwide CB&E initiatives or project specific programs
    • Draft internal communications for program promotion as needed
  • Administrative support
    • Provide general administrative support for Community Benefit & Engagement Programs
  • Participate in Community Meetings and Events
    • Represent Allina Health in community meetings and events
    • Other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

  • Associate's or Vocational degree Community Health, Communications required or
  • Bachelor's degree Community Health, Communications preferred
  • 2 to 5 years in community relations, community health, philanthropy, communications, event planning or project management required
