The Academy Executive is responsible for leading the team that enables end-to-end learning and development support of teammates across the enterprise

The Academy Executive is responsible for leading the team that enables end-to-end learning and development support of teammates across the enterprise. This role will support Wealth Management, Merrill, Consumer Investments, and Private Bank organizations by developing and maintaining Academy programs.

This is a critical position with responsibility for ensuring the achievement of key business outcomes through the utilization of impactful and proven learning and development strategies. The successful candidate will be an influential and results oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships across the company and with a wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure optimal alignment between the business’ strategies, future state operating model and the learning program required to deliver on them.
  • Build strong relationships to partner effectively with a variety of constituents.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to deliver a comprehensive learning and development program that will ensure our workforce is well equipped to meet the needs of the business.
  • Apply expertise in Global Learning to identify opportunities, strategies, and solutions that are directly linked to organizational and business goals.
  • Enhance operational efficiency and collaboration and drive a culture of continuous learning.
  • Support executives in building/developing strong teams.
  • Identify, develop and lead the implementation of multiple programs in a fast-paced, challenging environment with competing priorities.  Measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead a geographically dispersed team; inspire a strong sense of camaraderie and accountability and motivate continuous improvements to performance.

Managerial Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience working in large, complex, global organization with a sophisticated client base.  Financial Services industry experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience within Wealth Management, Merrill, Consumer Investments, and/or Private Bank.
  • Must have direct managerial experience with the demonstrated ability to motivate, lead and develop outstanding teams.
  • Must have Series 7, 66, 9 and 10
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills to build and maintain credibility and influence with teammates and stakeholders across a complex matrix environment.
  • Strong business acumen and highly developed analytical skills, as well as superior intellect and judgment. Able to aggregate multiple sources of information and details to communicate a high-level story quickly, succinctly and effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on tight deadlines.
  • Strong written, oral and active listening communication skills, including ability to drive consensus among partners.
  • Solutions focused, positive and resilient with the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges and remain agile to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, strong follow-up skills and ability to escalate and gain resolution as needed.
  • Proficiency in day-to-day risk identification and mitigation, and ability to communicate and reinforce the bank’s risk culture.

Desired Qualifications:

Pay range

$170,000.00 - $225,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
