As a Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst in our global Cyber Defense Center (CDC), you’ll be part of a mission-driven team protecting critical infrastructure and enabling a greener tomorrow.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Act as a second line of defense in our global Cyber Defense Center.
• Lead technical investigations of complex cybersecurity incidents.
• Use advanced SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Collaborate with global Incident Managers and Threat Hunters.
• Apply forensic techniques to uncover attacker tactics and techniques.
• Improve incident response playbooks and automation scripts.
• Produce post-incident reports with strategic recommendations.
• Track emerging threats and vulnerabilities proactively.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in Security Operations, Incident Response, or Digital Forensics.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and SOAR platforms.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and adversary tactics.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passion for continuous learning and cybersecurity excellence.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
