We are looking for an experienced ALIP professional to take ownership of technical delivery across ALIP components. The TL will lead development teams, drive solution design, ensure quality delivery, and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders in complex life insurance implementations. As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile methodologies. You will be responsible for understanding the requirements and translating them into functional software applications, while also ensuring that the solutions are efficient and effective in addressing the challenges faced by the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME.
Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to increase efficiency.
Lead and oversee development of ALIP core components, Business Rules, Models, Transactions, Workflows, and Integration components.
Provide technical designs, estimations, and solution recommendations for new enhancements.
Conduct code reviews, enforce ALIP development standards, and ensure technical best practices.
Guide and mentor developers manage task allocation and delivery timelines.
Collaborate with leads, architects,business analysts, product owners, and testing teams.
Drive issue resolution, performance tuning, and system optimization.
Support SIT/UAT cycles, production readiness, and deployment activities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ALIP Development.
Strong expertise in ALIP Rules (business/product), Models (UI, Data, Entity), Transactions, Workflow, Screen configuration, Integration Framework (REST/SOAP, MQ, batch jobs)
Good proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT, SQL, and insurance domain fundamentals
Experience with ALIP Development, upgrade, migration, Angular UI.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, automated testing.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
Ability to design and implement scalable software architectures.
Familiarity with agile practices and tools for project management.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ALIP Development.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
