Overview

To supervise and provide support, instruction, and direction to Lead Supervisors, HHA Supervisors and Clerical staff.

Compensation Range:$70,200.00 - $87,700.00 Annual

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that resources are maximized to attain optimal productivity and departmental growth within a cost effective framework.
  • Supervises and schedules activities of assigned staff to ensure the delivery of high quality service and compliance with all corporation policies as well as state regulations: consistently monitors and evaluates processes to ensure compliance standards are met
  • Performs all duties inherent in a managerial role. Interviews, hires, and evaluates the performance of assigned staff. Initiates appropriate disciplinary action as required.
  • Identifies and resolves issues which affect service delivery through regular, on-going communication with HHA staff, Field Supervision nurses and VNS Health
  • Home Care staff. Handles concerns and resolves problems of assigned staff.
  • Monitors activities of assigned staff to ensure that program responsibilities are performed appropriately and within required timeframe. Maintains outstanding level of customer service at all times.
  • Acts as resource to Lead Supervisors, HHA Supervisors and Clerical staff in resolving issues which affect service delivery or employee relations.
  • Participates in the training and orientation of newly hired staff. Promotes staff development on an on-going basis; including monitoring, tracking, reporting and making recommendations regarding the performance of entire staff.
  • Collaborates with department managers and senior management on development and expectation of processes to create efficiencies and increase productivity.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing work results as needed.
  • Works to ensure all necessary feedback occurs to office staff.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other jobs duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma High School Diploma or equivalency. required
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree preferred


Work Experience

  • Three years experience in health care preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience / Home Care experience. preferred
