We are seeking a Senior Manager of Business Intelligence (BI) to play a pivotal role in driving data strategy, analytics, and operational insights across the Samsung Mobile eXperience (MX) division. This role will focus on leading the Mobile Enhancement (ME), Business-to-Business (B2B), and Digital BI initiatives, optimizing data workflows, and supporting decision-making with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, experience managing BI tools, and a deep understanding of Telecom data.
This role will own, build, and support ME/B2B/Digital TAM and Market Share tracking for Carrier and Retail channels. It will have a high degree of influence and visibility with senior leadership. The individual hired for this role will need to be a strong leader with high integrity, strong analytical capabilities and the ability to tell stories using data, able to forge partnerships with leaders across the organization, and able to stay nimble and flexible as priorities shift.
Lead the ME/B2B/Digital BI function, ensuring accurate, actionable insights that support business objectives.
Develop and maintain Internal system, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business units.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
Drive weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting and insights generation with clearly defined and actionable recommendations to share with leadership.
Manage and optimize data infrastructure, leveraging available tools.
Analyze complex healthcare datasets (e.g., claims data) to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for growth.
Ensure data integrity, governance, and best practices for data management.
Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and data-driven culture.
Balance competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
Work closely with the Business Performance Management, Account Planning, and HQ teams on tracking and measuring the business performance of the online business.
Skills and Qualifications
8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics; Master degree preferred.
Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, DBT, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, or Power BI).
Strong understanding of performance management metrics, value-based contracts, and quality analytics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrate strong leadership and influencing skills with senior level leaders and teams.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Sophistication in communications, interpersonal relations and diplomacy.
Contribute to strategic business decision-making by deriving insight from market and consumer data on the main issues of the brand, product, and channel
Demonstrated program management ability, and proven experience in planning and executing large-scale projects and initiatives.
Excellent analytical, problem resolution and decision-making skills.
Unimpeachable integrity, viewed by senior executives as utterly trustworthy.
Superior judgment, budgeting, presentation skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure required.
