Join our diverse team as a Senior Salesforce Administrator specializing in Marketing Cloud (SFMC). In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting our SFMC strategy, driving implementation efforts, and fostering a culture of marketing operational excellence within our organization. As a seasoned technical leader and SFMC expert, you will guide the configuration and development of SFMC to deliver outstanding user experiences and optimize solution designs. Your responsibilities will span from leading strategy execution and managing timelines to cultivating strong relationships with both technology and business partners. This is a hybrid role based on our Burnaby, BC (British Columbia) Head Office. Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our 4567 Canada Way office and/or are not looking to relocate to BC will not be considered for this position.
Please note that this is a temporary position until March 31st, 2025.

What you bring:
At least 5 years of experience in the Information Technology field.
3+ years of experience with system development tools, application planning, and strong problem-solving skills.
Professional experience administering and developing Salesforce.com, ideally with specific experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
At least one SFMC Certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Email Specialist, Administrator, Marketing Cloud Developer, or Marketing Cloud Consultant).
Proficiency in at least one of the following SFMC programming languages: AMPScript, HTML and CSS, SSJS or JavaScript, SQL (including Query Studio experience), or Guide Template Language.
Familiarity with CASL & CAN-SPAM regulations, internal policies, and procedures, along with knowledge of APIs, integration techniques, and basic DNS, MX, and IP setup processes preferred.
Solid understanding of Email Marketing challenges such as IP-warmup and email deliverability.
Once here, you will:
Explore and understand the data to drive strategic thinking and action
Design and implement business capabilities, collaborating with IT and Data Science teams to automate and integrate data from external systems (Redshift, CDPs, CRMs) for marketing campaigns.
Analyze and translate functional requirements into technical solutions using AMPscript, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
Estimate, prioritize, and lead activities to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Contribute to Salesforce data integration efforts, utilizing APIs and integration tools to extract, transform, and load data from various internal and external sources as needed.
Marketing and CX Innovation through SFMC Application
Lead the transition from current platforms to SFMC, ensuring smooth migration of campaign strategies.
Optimize MarTech tools and integrate with SF Financial Service Cloud to drive revenue growth.
Implement new data points in SFMC, providing guidance on configuration strategy and reporting.
Translate marketing strategies into actionable specifications for SFMC, supporting email, SMS, triggered sends, alerts, and personalization strategies with technical expertise.
Ongoing SFMC Management
Support project team in handling risks, issues, and ensuring stakeholder success.
Assist in defining functional requirements and designing integrations within SFMC projects.
Identify Epics and User Stories, handling the SFMC backlog to prioritize tasks effectively.
Be responsible for internal sign-off processes before Sprint Reviews and Go-Live, ensuring alignment with user stories and best practices, including custom development.
Manage the Quality Assurance process for SFMC projects, documenting test cases, implementing tests, and reviewing results to meet requirements.
Prepare and deliver end user and administrator training materials, potentially including creation of training videos.
Monitor applications for optimization, analyzing email, SMS, and digital journey campaign results to deliver actionable insights for enhancing marketing operations.
The hourly rate for this position is $56.87 to $62.20 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to the hourly rate, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
