Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires a deep understanding of how to translate business requirements into functional software solutions, ensuring that the applications developed align with organizational goals. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to refine application features and optimize performance, while also adapting to evolving business environments and technological advancements. The engineer actively participates in the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing support, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Support the integration of new technologies and tools to improve application development and deployment.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and optimizing custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms within SAP environments.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts and ability to work with HANA database features for performance tuning.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting SAP ABAP programs to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Experience in collaborating with functional teams to understand business processes and provide technical solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
