Facilities Project SpecialistAbout the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Project Specialist to join the Facilities team at our Greenfield, Semiconductor manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia. The Facilities Project Specialist will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Civil/Project systems, ensuring optimal environmental conditions within the facility. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid technical background in Civil/Project systems, ideally with experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Work Location: Onsite - Johor Bahru.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Setup and Implementation:
Setting up and configuring new equipment for pilot runs or production lines.
Installing and testing prototypes or new product components.
Preparing production areas for new projects, including layout and material organization.
Technical Support:
Troubleshooting technical issues during project implementation.
Identifying and resolving problems with machinery or processes.
Assisting engineers in designing and modifying production processes.
Quality Control:
Conducting quality checks on products during production runs. Monitoring and documenting quality metrics to identify potential issues.
Implementing corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Gathering data on production performance and process parameters.
Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintaining accurate documentation of project progress, including technical specifications, process changes, and test results.
Creating detailed reports on project status, issues, and solutions.
Collaboration and Communication:
Working closely with engineers, production personnel, and project managers to ensure project success.
Communicating project updates and potential challenges to relevant teams.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations during project execution.
Identifying and reporting safety hazards.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Diploma or related Certification in civil/project systems, with at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within the Semiconductor or Manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of Civil / Project / Electrical / HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical equipment.
Familiarity with master schedule, planner, material construction and possess the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
Experience in construction systems within a Cleanroom environment.
Knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
