In this critical role, you will drive growth and provide overall supervision and strategic leadership of the key accounts or partners in APAC region. Able to take full ownership of the following:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for owning the revenue of assigned clients/accounts and managing annual target settings, budgeting, and forecasting as well as identifying and developing partnership opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • He or she is directly accountable for the achievement of transactional goals and to drive country revenue goals.  
  • You will ensure the launch of new products and maintain and expand ecosystem partnerships and deliver exceptional customer experience.  
  • Strong analytical skills and being data driven - Builds, reviews and analyses performance data and competitive data. Introduces new products and pricing proposals. 
  • You will analyze market trends and customer insights to support business strategies and decisions. Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing omnichannel sales, marketing and pricing strategies.  
  • You will exceed business performance targets and be responsible for managing the budget, business development, service delivery, marketing, external stakeholder management.  
  • You will work internally with finance, strategy, operations, marketing and business leadership to make strategic investment decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships (including at C-suite level) with key stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and customers.

Role Requirements:

  • To be successful in this role you will have at least 7-10 years of sales and business development experience in Remittance, Digital Payments, Banking or Fintech industries.  Experience in direct-to-consumer payments across retail channels and digital channels is highly desirable.   
  • You have a detailed understanding of the Japanese market, consumer trends, and remittance business overall.
  • You will need to be a strong leader with outstanding influencing and negotiation skills and experience with revenue management. 
  • You exhibit high energy and show enthusiasm to get into actions to drive the business and get results. 
  • You are familiar with pricing strategies, can influence decisions and good at negotiation and have a good understanding of the digital business. 
  • You can speak fluent Japanese and English and able to bridge the gap between American and Japanese style business practices.
