We invite suitable candidate to join a strong research team in Temasek Laboratories@NTU as a Research Scientist with the following requisites:

Key Responsibilities:

• The candidate is expected to conduct and lead research in Wireless and Cellular Security, in particular the discovery of novel wireless attacks and their detection and mitigations.

• The candidate is expected to conduct both theoretical development of methods and experiment design to validate the developed methods.

• Other research responsibilities include supervising junior researchers/interns/students, carrying out detailed literature review and assessment of the state-of-the-art technologies. planning and executing detailed R&D activities to meet project objectives and deadlines, generating novel scientific or technological concepts for application of breakthrough nature and contributing to research proposals.

• Administrative responsibilities may include safety, asset management and other aspects related to being a member of Temasek Labs@NTU.

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer & Electronics Engineering or other related fields.

• Strong background and knowledge in at least one or preferably more of the following fields: Cybersecurity, Deep Learning and Cybercrime with at least 3-5 years of research experience (including PhD training) in related fields.

• Proven track record in research and development of cybersecurity and/or Deep Learning technologies.

• Strong publication record in top cybersecurity or systems conferences/journals (e.g., Digital Investigation, USENIX Security, NDSS, ASE, TSE, TIFS, ICSE, FSE, ICST etc.

• Strong programming skills in C/C++, python etc.

• Knowledge on Software Engineering and Cybercrime are plus.

• Good writing skills for writing proposals, reports and publications in good academic journals.
