Experience:
Minimum 15 years related Sales/Account management experience preferably within the Travel and Tourism arena.
Experience to Develop and implement strategies that align with a company's goals and objectives. Includes identifying potential new markets and opportunities, analysing trends and data and creating sales plans to increase revenue
Manage and motivate a team including recruiting, training and coaching sales team members to ensure they have the skills and resources to succeed. Setting sales targets, monitoring performance and providing regular feedback to the team
Worked with GDS or Online Travel Agency.
Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of Sabre product’s will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently as well as on cross-functional teams.
Aware of current industry trends and new technologies.
Online Sales Management
Own and achieve sale targets for online accounts.
Manage effective sales pipeline on Salesforce; update periodically for better visibility.
Accountable for assigned Accounts. Including but not limited to, Monthly business review with customer, Quarterly Business Consulting, Ownership of engaging and driving priority with product and tech teams.
Develop sales strategies, respond to RFPs and generate proposals that meet the online team objectives.
Communicate account forecasts to and set sales strategy with Sales Director.
Responsible for delivering world class products and services through profitable renewal, conversion and new sale development.
Maintain a high level of customer involvement and is responsible for establishing Sabre as the global leader in the online segment.
Deploy prospecting strategies to gain new online customers and effectively cross-sell opportunities with other Sabre products and services.
Focus on deploying a superior account planning and a consultative sales methodology approach in order to maintain a high level of service and increased sales penetration to existing accounts.
Commercial Management
Prepare commercial offerings to new and existing customers during conversion and renewal opportunities.
Regularly analyze transaction volumes and revenue streams, current status of sales prospects, revenue forecasts etc.
Building and maintaining customer relationships especially with C-Suite
Account Management
Build, develop and maintain relationships with Account decision-makers to develop opportunities
Maintain and expand business within the accounts, visiting clients and involved in building the Sabre brand with the top opportunities
Own full responsibility and accountability for clients in portfolio. Act as the link for all client needs, liaising/coordinating various departments to ensure customer support and satisfaction.
Gather market intelligence covering competitor details, products and sales strategies.
Maintain a high level of current knowledge of the product portfolio and the benefits of specific products for Accounts as well as of other account-specific information (trends, strategy, competitors, pricing, etc.).
