As a Sales Training Associate, you will help the functional Manager with the planning, logistics and execution of our sales education strategy in the Emergency Care space.  In this role you will be supporting both virtual and in-person training courses for sales representatives and internal customers. Our portfolio of products enables patient care in the community, law enforcement, prehospital & hospital setting; this includes capital equipment, data solutions and disposables. 

This position is based in Kalamazoo, MI.  It is expected to come in the office 3 days per week, Monday through Wednesday. 

The 25% of travel required will be within the sales field.

What you will do

  • You will coordinate across internal cross-functional/divisional peers (including Global peers) and/or external vendors/partners. 
  • You will ​support sales education courses and programs through the coordination of scheduling, logistics, and procurement of course materials. 
  • You will oversee and organize training sessions both independently and in collaboration with our event planning team.  Responsibilities include negotiating hotel contracts, menu selections and collaboration with external vendors. 
  • You will interact with customers and functional leads to develop content for our courses. 
  • Must be able to communicate, plan and execute sales training events in partnership with the greater sales education team and various vendor partners, as well as manage schedules and expenses for each event.   
  • Develop and maintain processes to support new hire onboarding. 
  • Identify continual improvement for sales education workstream. 
  • Follow and use corporate branding guidelines. 
  • You will own our eLearning platform. Must be proficient in navigating an online platform. 
  • You will be adept at handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on detail orientation. 

 What you need: 

  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • 0+ years of relevant work experience, with a preference of experience in planning and coordinating events. 
  • ​Basic understanding of event coordination, team-based work experience, along excellent attention to details 
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication 
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines 
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority 
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) 

 

Travel Percentage: 20%
