Data Analyst 

• 2+ years experience working as a Data Analyst, ideally within a product focussed organisation. Solid SQL skills and a passion for digging deeper to find the why behind data. 
• Work on our modern, best-in-class tech stack, with a team that have your back and enjoy a fun culture (think game nights and KBBQ!)
• Ability to work flexibly, with two team-connect days in our Sydney CBD office each week.

A role in Zip’s Data Analytics squad will see you partner with key stakeholders to supply fast, reliable and future-proof data, powering data-driven decision making on our biggest and most interesting business challenges.

Working in our Analytics & Insights team provides no shortage of interesting opportunities for Zipsters to truly make their mark on the business. Interesting problems you’ll get to solve

• End to end analytics work from some data engineering work to insights development
• Experimentation work and A/B testing across product initiatives
• Present your analytics to the business stakeholders to help make critical business decisions
• Utilise analytics across the repayments journey to enhance the customer experience

What you’ll bring to the team

• Proven experience using SQL for performing complex queries and data manipulation.
• Experience delivering data visualisation dashboards across business critical insights (we use Tableau but if you’ve used PowerBI that’s fine too!)
• Bonus if you have worked on Snowflake data platform.
• Experience using DBT would be great but not an absolute requirement as we will help you learn! 
• Ability to work with a range of non technical stakeholders to clearly communicate the data story.
• Team player, enthusiasm for learning new tech and jumping into a diverse range of projects
• An aptitude for identifying and managing risks. Whether you are a People Manager or an Individual Contributor, we are all leaders at Zip, therefore effective risk management is important to how we run our business and part of all our roles.
