Project Role : Quality Engineer (Tester)
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. You will develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, leveraging your expertise to enhance the overall quality across the application lifecycle. By applying established quality processes and methodologies, you will play a crucial role in defining key metrics that will help manage and assess the testing process, including test execution and defect resolution. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality engineering. - Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing with Java or JavaScript programming - Must have experience in automation framework (Selenium, Playwright, Appium,) - Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) - Can understand User Stories or BRD - Experience in developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies. - Domain Knowledge - Has experience working in any financial industry - Strong analytical and debugging skills. Can collaborate with functional tester, BA. Dev) Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automated Testing. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
