At Mews, we're redefining how hospitality works – and that includes how software gets built. In our Front of House & POS division, we're growing a team of Product Builders: high-agency engineers who shape what gets built, not just how.
As a Senior Product Builder Mobile (Android), you'll take end-to-end ownership of product initiatives on the Mews POS – a heavy mobile product used daily in real-world hospitality environments. While your primary focus is mobile, you'll also contribute across backend and web when needed, working as a true full-stack Product Builder. You'll work closely with Product Managers and Designers to define problems, prototype rapidly and ship impactful solutions – with a strong mobile-first lens.
This is not a traditional engineering role. It's a hybrid of builder, maker and product thinker – designed for people who thrive in ambiguity, care deeply about real-world impact and have deep mastery of the Android platform.
Point-of-Sale workflows and real-time transaction processing
Hardware integrations (printers, payment terminals, peripherals)
Offline-capable and resilient mobile experiences
AI-powered features and smart automation within the POS product
GitHub Copilot for rapid code generation and refactoring
Cursor / Claude as AI-native IDE or CLI for development speed and software delivery
Emerging AI agents and workflow automation tools to reduce friction, test faster and unlock scale
