Position Summary: The CAD Operator is responsible for producing drawing files for production and submitting plans by following the serialized orders, state/federal codes and company standards. This position will work with production leadership to perform root cause analysis on print discrepancies.

Duties / Responsibilities:

•         Create prints using CAD systems for layout diagrams, schematics and construction documents.

•         Prepare and maintain plans for new structures and processes.

•         Communicate and collaborate with production leadership regarding print related items.

•         Communicate and collaborate with sales regarding orders.

•         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

•         High school diploma or GED, degree in drafting preferred.

•         Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

•         Experience with and general knowledge of constructions standards.

•         1 or more years’ experience using CAD systems.

•         Excellent attention to detail.

•         General understanding of construction standards and familiarity with HUD and/or MOD building codes.

Physical Demands:

•         Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.

•         Must be able to communicate via phone, email, and in person with the ability to exchange accurate information with others.

•         Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.

•         Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
