Job Description

Engineering Assistant is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), robotic storage systems, and related automation equipment. You will ensure system performance, minimises downtime, and support safe, efficient warehouse operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • You will Instal, commission, and test robotic systems and related hardware
  • Perform preventive maintenance on robots, charging stations, sensors, and conveyors
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues
  • Replace defective components and calibrate robotic systems
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alarms or fault conditions
  • Support system upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration changes
  • Collaborate with operations, IT, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory
  • Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Advanced Diploma/Diploma /ITE in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proficient in equipment installation and machine troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of C++, C#.NET and PLC programming will be an added advantage.
  • Candidates without work experience are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent troubleshooting.
  • You will support night shift when needed.
