POSITION SUMMARY

Sr. Account Executive
Overview: Sr. Account Executive is a pivotal role focused on driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and maximizing sales opportunities. They are responsible for understanding client needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and lead generation efforts to expand the client base.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and needs. Provide personalized solutions and effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, including account plans, to achieve and exceed sales targets. Continuously assess market trends and competitor activities to adapt the sales approach.
  • Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative sales approach, understanding client pain points, and proposing tailored solutions that align with their goals, demonstrating expertise in the product/service offerings.
  • Sales Presentations and Negotiation: Conduct compelling sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to showcase the value proposition and close deals. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, tracking leads, opportunities, and activities in CRM systems. Forecast accurately and provide regular updates on sales performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities for client satisfaction and retention.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively, striving to exceed client expectations.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in a similar industry, with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and maintain trust throughout the sales process.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to devise effective sales strategies and navigate complex sales scenarios.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiation techniques, contract management, and closing deals.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, client needs, and organizational priorities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Or, Proven experience in sales roles, preferably as an Account Executive or in a similar capacity, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

The salary for this position will be based on the selected candidate's experience level. Our target salary range is $100-125k for the base salary. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible to receive commissions for the achievement of assigned quota(s). Our target range for variable compensation is 50%-100% of the base salary. The specific details of this commission plan will be outlined in the compensation plan that will be provided during orientation.
