KMSP/WFTC is actively seeking a highly skilled Director of Engineering to step into a pivotal leadership role within our technical operations. Your Role and Responsibilities
Work closely with the VP of Engineering, you will direct our team of station engineers and serve as the primary lead for addressing time-sensitive and challenging maintenance issues. This position demands a clear understanding of project management principles, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
You will provide essential technical oversight and hands-on support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of broadcast equipment and systems.
You will hold responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the station's traditional broadcast, digital and engineering infrastructure. This includes ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and full compliance with all FCC regulations.
As an integral part of the Engineering Management team, you will collaborate with the VP of Engineering and Production Manager to achieve station goals efficiently and professionally.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $90,000.00-100,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
