FLSA STATUS:      PT Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Bartender for ASM Global/Pinnacle Bank Arena and Pinewood Bowl. Bartenders prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers at designated locations at Pinnacle Bank Arena and Pinewood Bowl.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for mixing drinks to order and serving customers
  • Responsible for having knowledge of all bar drinks and wines
  • Must have good customer service skills 
  • Must follow all SMG/SAVOR policies and procedures
  • Maintain valid food handlers and alcoholic beverage server permits required by the Department of Health

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Adhere to Universal Service Standards of proper grooming and appearance
  • Accurately count change and balance bank
  • Effective communication skills; Communicate with guests and receive orders
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

  • Ability to stand and remain stationary for entire length of shift
  • Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
  • Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds
  • May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hold and cold, depending on season
  • May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces
  • Flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Work hours are event related and non-guaranteed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.

Education and/or Experience        

  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
