Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, your day typically involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform architecture. You work closely with various architects to align system integrations and data models, ensuring seamless interoperability across components. Your role includes coordinating efforts among different teams to maintain a unified approach to data platform design and implementation, fostering collaboration and innovation throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within the data platform environment.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship to support the growth of junior team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse, Teradata BI.
- Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and cloud-based data platform solutions.
- Experience in designing and optimizing data models for performance and scalability.
- Ability to work with integration tools and technologies to support data flow between systems.
- Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages to automate data processing tasks.
- Understanding of data governance and security best practices within data platforms.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
