ABOUT THE POSITION  

The Sr. Lifecycle Automation Specialist is customer obsessed and an experienced, innovative customer lifecycle marketer. The ideal candidate has been successful in using data driven insights to identify opportunities and personalize the customer experience through their lifecycle. You have developed automated customer journeys across multiple channels including email, SMS, paid channels, etc. to improve engagement, drive revenue, increase customer retention and impact other key customer KPIs. 

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of lifecycle marketing campaigns/customer journeys and all data that supports it. This includes strategic program development, asset coordination across creative and marketing teams, hands on system/platform execution, and analytics of all lifecycle campaigns. 

To succeed in this position, you are a self-starter. You have experience developing or improving existing dynamic and targeted campaigns. You are data-driven and leverage results to help influence decisions to improve customer LTV. You have a strong understanding of data feed management between multiple systems and take initiative to ensure the data is correct to provide the best customer experience. 

This position combines creative thinking, exceptional communication skills, and detail orientation to deliver a consistent and relevant brand experience through email, SMS and other digital marketing channels.  This position has a high degree of autonomy, independent thinking and sound judgement while still collaborating cross functionally and within a matrixed organization. Teams you will work with include but are not limited to Performance Marketing, eCommerce Operations, Customer Marketing, Digital Design, Web Development, IT/IS, Analytics, and 3rd party vendors.  

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE 

  • Own and manage lifecycle campaigns from ideation to execution and analysis 

  • Build marketing automation efforts from start to finish, including targeting, list creation, design sourcing, business approval and deployment for email and additional channels 

  • Identify and segment audiences across multiple platforms, improving targeting and personalization, improving overall customer retention 

  • Leverage customer purchases and browsing behaviors to develop dynamic email triggers and campaigns 

  • Primary point of contact with 3rd party vendors to identify and implement new and innovative strategies 

  • Maintain knowledge of best practices, tools, industry trends and regulation requirements 

  • Own A/B testing schedule within customer journeys / automation campaigns 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 YOU HAVE  

  • Bachelor’s degree required, in Marketing or Business highly preferred 

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in email marketing and CRM roles, preferably within apparel 

  • Minimum 2 years tactical, hands-on experience executing automation and developing and implementing automated market 

  • Proficiency with Enterprise Level ESPs (Epsilon, SFMC, Emarsys, etc.) 

  • Proficiency with SMS platform (Attentive or others) 

  • Proficient with Google Analytics, Omniture/Adobe Analytics or other online reporting tool

Salary Range: $81,300 - $135,900

*Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate’s capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
