ChampionX, has an immediate need for an Oilfield Chemical Service Representative located in Red Deer, AB. As an Oilfield Chemical Service Representative, you will be assigned to provide service support to various accounts in the oil & gas industry to ensure exceptional customer support.

This role is an entry-level position in our oil field chemical sales division.

What You Will Do:

  • Work safely, promote a safety culture and actively work to achieve goal zero.

  • Work collaboratively with a team of sales and operations professionals committed to customer service.

  • Operate a company provided vehicle on various roadways including residential, highway, rural, and oil field leases.

  • Collect chemical inventory from customer sites.

  • Sample oil and gas field production fluids and assist with performing routine testing.

  • Deliver chemical to customers as needed following TDG requirements.

  • Document inventory using Microsoft Excel workbooks and/or other software.

  • Maintain field inventories by ordering and dispatching product.

  • Provide various services such as sample testing, light maintenance, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management, general labor activities.

  • Support the sales representatives and develop strong relationships with the key customer stakeholders in the accounts you support

  • Grow technical and sales knowledge with provided training so that you may:

  • Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required.

  • Engage in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and completing onsite and laboratory testing to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels.

Position Details:

  • Candidate must reside in Red Deer, AB, or the surrounding area.

  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • This is a safety sensitive role and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry or relevant experience is preferred.

  • Practical computer application literacy including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn internal business systems.

  • Prior experience that required excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Experience driving on oil field roads.
