Role Overview
The Head of Tax is a senior finance leader responsible for setting and executing the global tax strategy for a multinational insurance and reinsurance organization. This role provides oversight across all tax disciplines—including income tax, transfer pricing, indirect tax, and tax governance—ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with the company’s broader business and risk objectives.
The Head of Tax partners closely with executive leadership, business leaders, regulators, and external advisors to manage tax risk, optimize the global effective tax rate, and support strategic initiatives such as reinsurance structures, capital management, M&A, and international growth.

The base salary range for this position is $344,000 - $512,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
