The Department

Our foreign customer service teams consist of specialist hosts who have knowledge and understanding of the customers within their specific regions. These highly skilled and professionally trained hosts deliver the same levels of service, but in multiple foreign languages. German, Dutch, Italian, French, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Greek, Russian, Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese are among some of the many languages we sustain.

Purpose of the role

This is a very exciting role within the growing Customer Support Department at Betway. Operating within the e-commerce industry, we provide excellent services to our international clients and their businesses.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing world-class customer service by responding to customer queries by telephone, email, and online chats in first language German and/or second language being English, where applicable.
  • Assist on tasks within other regions by using company translation tools provided, this is only if all tasks on the product that you are scheduled to work on have been completed.
  • Processing and resolving of incoming and outgoing contacts in a multimedia environment.
  • Processing pertinent information into relevant databases.
  • Completion of tasks assigned during shift.
  • Customer relationship building and management as well as cross selling of products and services.
  • Problem solving tasks during shift.
  • Handling and taking full responsibility for customer related queries.
  • Excellent time management and adherence to schedule.
  • Performing extra tasks given by managers / shift supervisors as required.

You will have:

  • German as a first/native language - strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English - strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid work/residence permit for the European Union.
  • Availability to work on 24/7 shift patterns.

It would be a bonus if you also have:

  • Minimum of high school qualification.
  • Similar work experience post qualification.
