Act as a technical expert and present Red Hat technologies and solutions to executive IT leadership with a compelling business case to invest in Red Hat solutions.

*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.
 

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with the Sales team and technical delivery teams to bring customers the best solutions from across the Red Hat Enterprise OpenShift product suite including Advanced Cluster Management, OpenShift AI, Red Hat OpenShift Data Science, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, OpenShift Data Foundations, Cloud, big data, virtualization, storage, middleware, clustering, or high availability.
  • Build trusted technical advisor status within the customer base and educate prospective customers on the capabilities of Red Hat JBoss Middleware solutions.
  • Build sound architectures that map directly to customer business problems.
  • Conduct live demonstrations of Red Hat OpenShift Portfolio and Red Hat products. Identify the appropriate Red Hat technologies to create integrated solutions for customers.
  • Understand current technology trends and relate those trends to Red Hat solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally within Red Hat to deliver on customer expectations.
  • Develop, guide, and support pilots, demonstrations, workshops, proofs of concepts, evaluations, and benchmarks.
  • Develop and conduct workshops and sessions on the OpenShift product suite including Advanced Cluster Management, OpenShift AI, RedHat OpenShift Data Science, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, OpenShift Data Foundations, Cloud, big data, virtualization, storage, middleware, clustering, or high availability.
  • Contribute to building best practices among peers in engineering and provide timely and accurate technical responses to customer requests.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field (will accept a 3-year foreign bachelor’s degree or any other combination of degrees, diplomas or professional credentials and/or experience determined to be equivalent to a bachelor’s degree by a qualified evaluation service) and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
  • Must have ten (10) years of experience with Linux.
  • Must have six (6) years of experience with Virtualization technology.
  • Must have three (3) years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
  • Must have six (6) months of experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • Domestic and international travel required 20% of the time to visit customer sites, attend internal meetings and trainings, sales events, and client pitches. Travel expenses covered by Red Hat, Inc.

The salary range for this position is $154,877 - $187,698. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
