The focus of role is to provide strong reporting and commercial support to segment CFO. This covers month end reporting,  supporting tender financials and impactful partnering with finance and non-finance colleagues across the business to deliver strong insightful reports/commercials. 

This is not a typical finance role. We are looking for someone who is highly pro-active and who wants to team up with the rest of colleagues to make things happen!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support in managing various P&L’s to deliver against budget. Work with local entities to identify and analyse root cause of variances. Make financial recommendations to local finance directors and segment CFO.
• Support tender commercial activities and providing clear commercial recommendations to assist decision-making.” Manage initiatives tracker on monthly basis, working with local entities to provide progress updates and identify bottlenecks
• Prepare/support investment committee capex request cases
• Develop meaningful budget models and projections in conjunction with the operating units
• Assist with month-end tasks, including booking transactions in SAP, preparing cost centre reports for sign-off, and supporting analysis of key performance drivers. Responsibilities also include managing the P&L and handling accounts.Ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by CFO/President

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Economics, Accounting majors required.

Work Experience:

• 2 to 3 years financial experience
• proficiency in MS Excel is essential
• Experience with systems such as SAP or BI tools is an advantage

Language / Communication Skills:

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
