Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to execute and optimize warehouse and lineside material flow, protecting production continuity and SAP accuracy.

You will work with Production, Planning, Quality, and Procurement to solve daily constraints and drive continuous improvement across material handling and inventory control.

Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Executing daily warehouse processes (receiving, unloading, put-away, picking, staging, and shipping support) following safety rules and standard work. 

  • Owning and applying the Plan For Every Part (PFEP) to standardize how each part is handled and supplied—point-of-use presentation, packaging, containerization, delivery frequency, routes, staging rules, and material handling requirements. 

  • Coordinating daily priorities and resolving constraints with Production, Planning, Quality, and Procurement (expedites, holds, urgent needs) to keep material moving smoothly. 

  • Driving hands-on continuous improvement using 5S, visual management, standard work, and root-cause problem solving to reduce waste, shorten replenishment cycle times, and improve productivity.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, engineering related, logistics or similar.

  • 2+ years of experience in internal logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or materials flow processes.

  • Hands-on with Lean / Six Sigma tools: 5S, Kanban, VSM, PFEP, JIT, etc.

  • Knowledge of ERP Systems such as SAP, MAPICS, Oracle, BPCS or related.

  • Data Skills for Dashboard creation by Power BI, Tableau, Excel or related.

  • MS Office intermediate-advanced

  • Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis

  • Desired Lean Certification (Yellow Belt/Green Belt)

  • Demonstrated Continuous Improvement Project Experience

  • Advanced English level

  • You are passionate about Leadership, Teamwork and Decision-making
