The salary range for this position is $360,000 to $450,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.

Position Summary

Salem Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join a collaborative and patient-focused surgical team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive urologic care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive environment with access to advanced technology and multidisciplinary collaboration.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive urologic care including consultation, diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment of urologic conditions.
  • Perform a broad range of urologic procedures and surgeries including minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques.
  • Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to support clinical excellence.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists across the health system to ensure coordinated care.
  • Contribute to on-call coverage and inpatient consultation services.
  • Participate in clinical education opportunities including mentoring medical students or residents when applicable.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and comply with regulatory and institutional standards.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Urology residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fellowship training or specialized expertise in areas such as minimally invasive urologic surgery, robotics, oncology, or stone disease
  • Interest in clinical teaching and mentoring
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
